Where Flowers Bloom So Does Hope

‘Where flowers bloom so does hope’- Ladybird Johnson

Spring is upon us here in Fiji and with the new season comes renewed optimism. We’ve been staying positive and busy during these quieter times, taking the opportunity to review our menus, undertake building maintenance, and make sure all our safety and hygeine practices are up to speed. We’ve also established a wonderful new organic vegetable garden on site.

Currently bursting with amazing, organic vegetables from bele (Fijian spinach) to cucumber, eggplant, and green beans, as well as a variety of herbs, our dedicated gardener Ganga has established a wonderful continuous supply of fresh, local produce to our kitchen so that future guests can enjoy truly healthy, fresh, ‘garden-to-table’ meals.

We believe that good food can intimately connect our guests to the land, and the staff who lovingly nourish them from the inside, creating a real sense of place in the local environment. We can’t wait to share this newly inspired and sustainable culinary experience with you at Savasi Island.
